Sometimes, an iOS device may disconnect from Bark due to a change in device settings or simply the length of time since it last connected to Bark. The good news is, it's a quick fix.
If using the Bark Sync method
-
Plug your child's iOS device into the Bark Sync with the charging cable that has the
Bark logo on the connectors.
- On your child's device, open the
Bark Kids app and tap the Sync tab.
-
Tap Scan Now.
- When asked to "trust the computer" (aka the Bark Sync), tap Trust.
- Bark will automatically analyze your child's device again, but you can also manually tap Scan Now, if needed.
If using the computer or Bark Home method
- Plug your child's iOS device into your home computer (or Bark Home) with their charging cable.
-
Unlock your child's iOS device and look for a Trust This Computer prompt.
- Tap Trust. If there is no prompt to tap Trust, you may have granted it already.
- Refresh your Bark dashboard to see if the error has resolved.
-
Bark will automatically analyze your child's device again, but you can also manually start an analysis, if needed.
